CSA Student Council Raises Funds with “Pie in the Eye” Contest

Community STE[A]M Academy’s Student Council recently brought laughter and school spirit together with a fun-filled “Pie in the Eye” fundraiser. The event invited students to contribute for a chance to pie a teacher—all in support of Student Council initiatives.

Thanks to enthusiastic participation across the school, the fundraiser brought in a total of $109. Each $5 donation earned students an entry into a drawing for the opportunity to pie the winning teacher.

After all contributions were counted, Ms. Haddix, 5th grade teacher, was named the winning (and very good-spirited!) staff member. In a show of strong class pride, 5th grade students led the way—the top contributor and the randomly selected student chosen to deliver the pie were both from 5th grade.

The event was a great success, highlighting not only the generosity of CSA students but also their ability to come together for a fun and meaningful cause. Needless to say, 5th grade showed up in a big way and made this event one to remember!
