Our approach to instruction looks intentionally different from the traditional, teacher-centered model many have experienced. As Ohio’s only STEAM Designated Independent public school, and one of just eight independently designated STEM/STEAM schools in the state — we are committed to providing an educational experience that is relevant, personalized, and future-ready.

“We’re preparing students for the 21st Century. The ‘workforce-direct’ kind of mentality is that we’re preparing them to step into the workforce. That workforce may require them to go off to get a degree at the university, and they’ll be prepared for that. But there are also some careers or workforce that they don’t need that, and we’re preparing them for that as well.”

As Community Experts, your expertise and support are invaluable in enhancing the learning experiences of our students. To ensure the safety and security of everyone in our school, we kindly ask all volunteers to undergo a background check (Fee of $6) through the Raptor website before volunteering. This process helps us maintain a safe and secure environment for our students and staff. Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to our school's mission.
