Overview
Community STE(A)M Academy (CSA) – Xenia’s culture and priorities are determined by its Vision, Mission, Purpose, and Core Values. CSA– Xenia’s overall goal is to utilize an active, brain-based, student-first model of instruction ensuring personalized education of every learner. Each learner will engage in activities of the mind accessed through their diverse backgrounds and creative heart passion. They each will be given voice and choice to demonstrate their mastery of academic content and 21st-century skills. They will do so by means of authentic, project-based learning experiences that are linked to community enterprises, and critical aspects of the learners’ soul (emotional and social), and body (physical well-being) with the goal of holistic preparation for college, career, and citizenship.
Mission
The Community STE(A)M Academy – Xenia’s mission is to educate the whole student through innovative, student-centered, relevant learning experiences to meet communities’ current and future needs by embracing the rigorous, interdisciplinary, problem-solving STEM pathway while embedding the creativity of the Arts.
Vision
We envision CSA-Xenia as an exemplary educational community that supports all students to engage their heart, mind, body, and soul to become academically, socially, emotionally, and physically successful and ready for service to local and global communities.
