What Love Can Do, an original Theater Production

  • Bethel Community Church 1020 Lower Bellbrook Road Xenia, OH, 45385 United States (map)

Community STE[A]M Academy proudly presents What Love Can Do—an original play created entirely by students in our theater elective class. Written, produced, and performed by students, this special production explores the power of love, connection, and compassion through the performing arts.

The story follows a group of young people in the town of Bexhill, England during the summer social season. Mirabel, a cousin of Julianna, arrives in town and catches the attention of both the charming but self-assured Frederick and the awkward but well-meaning Roman. Julianna hatches a plan to set Roman up with Mirabel, while also securing Frederick as her own date to the upcoming Grand Tide. However, complications arise as feelings get confusing, rivalries flare up, and scandals abound! In the end, conflicts are sorted and new relationships are built.
